Guilt-free Vulnerability Management: How to tell on yourself and get paid for it!
Guilt-free Vulnerability Management: How to tell on yourself and get paid for it!
Join #teamTim and Teddy Guzek on Webinar session Date:14
Vulnerability management might be the single most harrowing thing for an MSP to deliver as part of their cyber program. I mean, aren’t you in essence asking the customer to pay you for exposing what you’re *not* doing for them?
But vulnerability management is far from patching (or lack thereof)
Vulnerability management is an invaluable service that acts as the glue between asset management, IoT, application security, and risk.
Join us for a special live stream where we bring in the team from Shield Cyber – a group of penetration testers who got tired of always pwning networks and decided to do something about it.
They’ll show us how vulnerability management can bolster your bottom line, and elevate you as an invaluable liaison for your client’s vendors, internal staff, and cloud providers.
During this webinar, we are joined by Teddy Guzek where will will discuss Guilt-free Vulnerability Management: How to tell on yourself and get paid for it!
Teddy Guzek (OSCP)
Teddy is the Founder and CEO for Hoplite Consulting (penetration testing firm) and Shield Cyber (SaaS-based vulnerability management platform). He began his career at Protiviti where he served primarily as an ethical hacker for Fortune 500 companies before being promoted to lead Protiviti’s Chicago lab.
In 2019, Teddy started Hoplite with the vision of creating an information security problem-solving organization focused on identifying the technical cybersecurity gaps that matter most to their clients.
In 2022, Teddy (and co-founder, Michael Weimer) developed Shield Cyber to address two key problems they saw in the proactive cybersecurity market: 1) existing vulnerability management solutions lacked the context of how attackers actually penetrate and pivot through different networks; and 2) true proactive cybersecurity was largely unavailable to the SMB market.
Teddy is passionate about making cybersecurity less complex. He can provide a unique perspective on ethical hacking, the importance of identities in vulnerability management, and how cybersecurity can be understood through logic versus magic, to name a few.
Teddy has been featured on SportsCenter Top 10; was recognized by the Indiana Business Journal as a ‘20 in their Twenties’; and currently serves on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit that “equips students from families of limited economic means with the knowledge, character, and skills to achieve their aspirations.”
